Assist with teaching at preschool and primary levels : Teaching Nepalese Children is throughly enjoyable experience. This program is open to everyone. No matter what you believe your skill level to be, you have something meaningful and helpful to offer. Volunteer Aid Nepal provides a meaningful placement for anyone willing to volunteers to assist with teaching at preschool and primary levels, and believe that the only skills required for volunteering for this Programme are a willingness to learn and an open mind. Volunteers often find songs and games useful in maintaining the children’s attention and in encouraging them to speak or sing in English. In some placements, volunteers not only teach English but also music and dance, crafts, cooking and the concept of “playing”.Students are between 4 to 12 years of age.
Lower secondary level: At lower secondary level, volunteer teachers can teach core subjects, such as English (including grammar), mathematics, science, social sciences, and can initiate extra-curricular activities. You don’t need any formal teaching qualifications to teach at lower secondary school. You will however, a good command of written and spoken English and creativeness to make class much effective is required. Students are between 10 to 15 years of age.
Assist with teaching at Secondary and Higher Secondary Levels: A teaching qualification is required to teach at secondary level. Professional teacher, TEFL holders, Educational Charity workers and professional trainers are placed to teach English and reading classes to Nepali Students at secondary and Higher Secondary levels. It is our goal to ensure that the children of Nepal are able to advance their practical written and verbal English language skills. In Nepal, English is important for better job placement, educational advancement and better future. Students are between 13 to 21 years of age.

Friendship Society Nepal (FSN) currently has opportunities for volunteers to assist with teaching at preschool, primary, lower secondary and higher secondary levels. The objective/purpose of the library would be:
• Provide relevant reading materials to the patients in Friendship Society Nepal (FSN) Encourage the patients to read the books that can help them to improve their habit and gain confidence.
