About WRED Nepal

Rooted in Research. Driven by Education. Dedicated to Nepal.

Wide Research, Education and Development (WRED) is an indigenous, non-partisan, registered non-governmental organization working to uplift marginalized communities across the trans-Himalayan valleys and southern plains of Nepal.

Our Mission (हाम्रो उद्देश्य)

Catalyzing Sustainable Grassroots Progress Through Evidence and Education

To eradicate systemic educational disparity, champion empirical public policy research, and empower vulnerable Nepalese communities with resilient, locally owned infrastructure.

Serving across 14 vulnerable districts of Nepal
Our Vision (हाम्रो दृष्टिकोण)

A Resilient, Enlightened, and Self-Sustaining Nepal

We envision a nation where every child in the most remote Himalayan valley has equal access to modern digital learning, every village community directs its own climate resilience, and public development is anchored in truthful local research.

Aligned with UN SDGs 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 11, and 13
Guiding Philosophy

We actively prioritize Nepal's most remote, economically disadvantaged, indigenous, and marginalized communities across Karnali and the Terai.
